DESIGNED FOR A PURPOSE + BUILT TO SERVE
SAFE PERSONAL SPACE
Designed and ordered in Winter 2023, delivered April 2023, we’ve been in operation since. Our custom designed trailer features four private suites. Each individual guest walks into a suite with a separate 34” x 36” shower pan, shower curtain, commode, sink basin, mirror, deadbolt-lock, occupied indicator, clothing hooks + floor drains. Spacious enough for personal belongings and changing, each compartment is climate controlled and has an exhaust fan. We provide a shower seat upon request.
MECHANICAL ROOM
The mechanical room houses a jet pump, two 200-gallon freshwater tanks + a tankless water heater (fueled by a 100-pound propane tank externally mounted). The trailer is outfitted with two city water connections, a 240-volt or 50-amp outlet, powered by an externally mounted generator, + a 750-gallon waste bladder tucked in the trailer undercarriage.
RESPONDING TO THE NEED
Our trailer is engineered and built to endure rigorous conditions, including fire camps, disaster zones + long-term use. Our hard-wearing + beloved trailer has traveled the highways + byways of Metro Atlanta + middle Georgia, served massive turnouts, private events, endured unexpected adventures, lessons, + mishaps, + is going strong. See you at the next shower event!

After decades in trial advocacy, I channel my efforts and resources into improving conditions for those managing housing insecurity and into advancing innovation within the housing ecosystem.
The loss of a loved one during their period of homelessness caused me to take action. Mobile Showers Atlanta was born, a nonprofit delivering safe hygiene access and vital resources to those too often unheard, unseen, and unrepresented.
We see them, living in their cars, searching for safe facilities. We value them. The joint efforts of brilliant, compassionate people are improving conditions for our unhoused neighbors today. Right now.
Inclusion, nontraditional collaborations, and innovative design will lead us to building better, smarter and more affordably for us all.
